On the Day

As you arrive, you will be greeted by the friendly staff at the registration desk who will help you to sign in.

Once signed in, you can grab a complimentary tea or coffee from the refreshment van. You will then be called up along with the other drivers for a classroom style briefing session about what to expect and safety in and out of the cars.

You will then be taken on a familiarisation lap on the minibus, getting to know the 1.5 mile circuit. (A car may be used if the bus is not accessible to you).

Then it’s back to base where you will be called up in turn to get behind the wheel of each of the three Supercars!

Next, it’s time to have an unforgettable experience as you drive the three dream supercars around the circuit, you will get four laps on the one and a half mile circuit in each car.

Then if that's not enough, you'll be taken on your hot lap ride, where you will experience what a high performance car can do around the circuit!

When you return to base, you will be presented with your certificate and given the opportunity to purchase pictures and a video of your experience.

Need to know

Can I use a steering wheel ball?
Unfortunately, it is not possible for you to attach or use a steering wheel ball on any of the supercars.  The damage caused to the steering wheel by continuous use and removal is too great and impacts on those drivers that do not require the adaption.

How long does it take?
Customers should allow up to one and a half hours for this experience. You will be in each of these dream supercars for approximately 8 minutes depending on your pace.

When can I try it?
This activity takes place on selected Fridays and most Saturdays from March through to December. Please note that reduced rate Friday experiences are only available from April through to October.

What should I wear/bring?
You should wear flat soled shoes, trainers are preferable and clothing appropriate for the weather.

Do I need to hold a driving licence or have driven a car before?
Yes, you will need to hold a full UK driving licence.

Can my family/friends come and watch me drive?
Family, friends and carers are all welcome to come and watch, at no charge. For more information on what the carer place involves, please see our Questions and answers page.

Accessibility

The venue has ample parking and the car park is laid to concrete. There is no dedicated disabled parking at this venue. The car parking spaces are approximately 20 – 25 meters from the main doors. If required, you can get your vehicle track side and transfer directly into your Supercar!

The pathways from the car park are laid to concrete wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair and flat enough to be negotiated without assistance.

The registration desk is approximately 15 meters straight ahead as you turn in through the front door.

There are no dedicated disabled toilets, but the toilets are generous in size and there are no steps to overcome in order to get to them.

Assistance dogs are welcome, but they must remain on the lead for safety reasons. There are plenty of areas to “spend” an assistance dog, we do ask that you bring your own water bowl and any other provisions.

Who can do this?

This experience is suitable for people with the following disabilities:

  • Hard of hearing / Deaf
  • Restricted Arm*
  • Restricted Leg*

* Please note that if you do not require or use the portable hand controls, you must have a good right leg/foot to operate the accelerator and brake.
