A member of the experienced Bungee Jump team will be there to welcome you and sign you in. To ensure your safety during the Bungee Jump, you will be weighed. Then it’s time to join the queue, watching other bungee jumpers return from their activity glowing and high on adrenaline!
You’ll be called up and after a second weight check to ensure you’re given the correct equipment, you’ll be harnessed up and given your bungee rope. Then it’s time to step aboard the jump cage and be hoisted 160ft into the air. On the way up, your Jump Master will explain exactly what will happen and answer any questions you may have. Then it’s the moment of truth: the gates open, you assume your position and it’s time to leap!
Afterwards the team will guide you in and take you out of your harness. You’ll get a certificate and, if you like, you can buy a photo or video as a memento of your achievement.
Note: For people with loss of leg or legs, a chest harness will be used as opposed to the traditional ankle harness. This will mean you are Bungee Jumping feet first as opposed to head first. The team are fantastic and are considerate of people’s disabilities, but be aware that there may be elements of manhandling required in order to get you weighed and into the harness.
If you use a chest harness to jump, unfortunately, it is not possible to do a Tandem Bungee Jump.
Is it safe?
Yes – however terrifying it feels! There are multiple safety checks and the Bungee Jump team is very experienced.
How long does it take?
Please allow two hours for the whole activity. (It normally takes one hour.)
When can I try it?
The Bungee Jump Gift Experience is available on selected weekends throughout the year, all year round.
What should I wear/bring?
All safety equipment is provided. Please just wear sensible clothes. All belongings and jewellery will have to be left on the ground before you jump. (Bear in mind you’ll be hanging upside down, so skirts and loose fitting tops may not be ideal!)
Can I bring a friend or carer?
If your friend is brave enough, you can do a tandem Bungee Jump where you are harnessed together. Simply select the tandem bungee jump when making your purchase.
If your friends don’t fancy that, they are welcome to come along and watch at no charge. If you need a carer, your carer is welcome to go up in the jump cage with you and watch from 160ft as you take the plunge! For more information about carers, please see our Questions and Answers page.

This site is located on the edge of Brighton Marina and you will get some amazing views out across the Marina as you rise up to jump height. At this venue, the Bungee Jump takes place over a rather large Air Cushion!
Due to the city location, there is no dedicated car park for the Bungee Jump site, but there is a public car park with dedicated disabled parking 5 minutes walk away.
The terrain is all paved and well maintained, making it easily accessible for wheelchairs.
The Bungee Jump location has a barrier surrounding it and the crane can be seen from a distance, if you have a visual impairment, depending on the severity of your sight loss, it may be necessary for some guidance to find the location. If arriving via Taxi, you will arrive approximately 50 meters from the Bungee Jump site on the main road. If you call the staff ahead of your arrival, someone will be able to meet you and guide you to the jump site.
There is music playing at the site, so if you are hard of hearing, please make the team aware and they will do what is necessary whilst maintaining an atmosphere for all customers.
The staff at the event will be happy to look after a guide dog whilst you take your Bungee Jump, just let a member of the team know.
Due to the location of this event, there are no dedicated toilet facilities. There are however many restaurants and eateries surrounding the jump site with disabled toilets only a few minutes walk away.
